SERPAJ,


For 25 years, SERPAJ has worked with children and teenagers living on the streets of ten countries in Latin America. 
The association is a consultative member of the UN (ECOSOC) and UNESCO.
In Buenos Aires.
- 41.5% of the inhabitants of Buenos Aires including 900,000 children under the age of 12, do not have access to basic necessities.
- 79.65% do not have running water.
- The infant mortality rate in the commune is 28.6%.
- Since 1992, the number of young marginalized people has increased by 62%, of whom 2 million are aged between 15 to 24 years old.
- More than a quarter of young people are not in work or education.
