  • Welfare grocery stores :
The Foundation funds the opening of welfare grocery stores, helping to refurbish buildings and equip stores. In addition, local sponsor networks lend operational support for stores by providing material and logistical aid.
  • Food donations :
To help food banks organize the collection of fresh products while maintaining a seamless cold chain, the Foundation supplies them with refrigerated trucks and asks Carrefour stores to implement food donation procedures based on the selection of unsold products that are safe to eat.
  • Products lines:
This programme involves providing small producers with help from international and non-governmental organizations. Based on technical, marketing and sales assistance provided by Carrefour teams and initial financial aid from the Foundation, producers learn to organize themselves into cooperatives in order to sell their agricultural produce, remain competitive on the market and ensure an adequate income for their families.
  • Schooling:
The Foundation supports organizations that take in, care for and help ensure the education or professional training of children and teenagers in danger or in financial difficulty. In tandem, Carrefour stores sponsor schools by offering them school and educational equipment (classroom equipment, donations of school supplies, schooling support workshops etc.).
