The Foundation is helping to improve living conditions and rebuilding the social fabric of displaced communities in the Magdalena department, in the north of Colombia.
The UN, the Colombian government and Carrefour are involved in the development of a sustainable solution for the professional and social integration of local communities in a vulnerable part of Colombia.
The mission of “Corporación Emprendedores Colombia” is to train and assist those setting up and running small businesses to attain their economic and managerial objectives.
In 2008, Fundalectura and the Fondation Corona - Carrefour’s partners for the “Schools are part of our lives” programme - set up an educational assistance programme for children in vulnerable communities. “Palabrario” is a special programme for young people which opens their minds to new ways of thinking and prepares them for the future by helping them to better understand the world so that they can make it their own and have a role in it.
