La Maison Ouverte
La maison ouverte, an association registered under the Law of 1901, founded in July 2000 by Gisèle Bessac and chaired by Dr Xavier Emmanuelli, aims to meet the needs of elderly people who refuse the deficiencies and exclusion associated with ageing, while promoting contact between the generations.
The Maison Ouverte aims to:
- Provide areas where elderly people, their families and friends can gather and find a friendly ear.
- Generate a creative dynamic around these people and develop contact between the generations.
- Promote individual self-fulfillment, stimulate desire through an attentive service and creativity, and fight against isolation.
