Spain : Support for the Exit Foundation's "Conecta" programme
The Exit Foundation is a network of four local centres whose aim is to give unemployed people access to the world of work and provide them with an operating methodology and financial support.
The goal of the "Conecta" project is to help people at risk of exclusion from their society, family and/or culture by reintegrating them into the work market.
Specialist educators provide professional and psychological support for these people, who thus can be sure of finding a job.
The Carrefour Group in Spain has been partnering this project for several years, and beneficiaries gain the necessary skills to obtain employment with Carrefour.
Knowledge of the training process and the company's requirements increases their employability.
Moreover, experience gained from working in a network with other corporate entities and the ability to interpret the company's concrete needs contribute to the effectiveness of the EXIT Foundation's activity.
Lastly, by pre-selecting candidates and helping new employees to integrate, the programme facilitates their progress and ensures that they are successful in fulfilling their job contracts.
