The Carrefour International Foundation, in collaboration with teams from Carrefour Indonesia, provides humanitarian relief to the victims of the flooding, who lack clean drinking water, food and electricity and are suffering from the early stages of various epidemics (dengue, malaria). The Foundation provided support in the form of a donation of 50,000 euros, which funded the transport of 50 tonnes of vital goods. Emergency materials and equipment arrived in Jakarta on 11 February thanks to the support of Carrefour Singapoure.

These programmes, which required a high degree of responsiveness and organization, reveal the level of solidarity that exists between the various teams within the Carrefour Group.
