The project aims to receive the financial ressources of the fishermen of Baan Nam Khem. To this end, it was necessary to organize and train 50 fishermen from the village to produce 140 tonnes of fish per year.

They are trained in bass production techniques, receive long-term support to promote sustainable production, and receive equipment and materials, such as cold rooms, young fish, refrigerated trucks and more.

Carrefour Thailand hypermarkets have agreed to buy the fish produced by the fishermen at a guaranteed minimum price. Fishermen are also free to dispose of their production as tehy wish and to sell it to other retailers.
