China : Emergency assistance in Qinghai
On Wednesday, April 14, 2010, a deadly earthquake hit the province of Qinghai.
The authorities reported 1 944 deaths and more than 12 000 injured.
To respond effectively to the needs of victims, the Carrefour Foundation is supporting the Red Cross up to € 230 000 for the purchase and delivery of medicines, tents, food, vehicles and other equipment necessary.
